FBI Background Check, also known as FBI Identity History Summary Check, is a report that summarizes an individual’s criminal history or activity. Information used in the report is obtained through federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
FBI Background Check is commonly required to satisfy a requirement for adopting a child out of state or in foreign countries, to satisfy a requirement for court-related matters or to seal, expunge, or remove inaccurate criminal history information, or to satisfy a requirement to live, work, study, or travel in a foreign country (i.e., police certificate, letter of good conduct, Identity History Summary check, etc.)

How to get an FBI Background Check?
You have three ways to submit a request. Electronically submit your request directly to the FBI, mail your request directly to the FBI, or turn to an FBI-Approved Channeler.
Your FBI Background Check can be issued in a digital copy (PDF format) or a hard copy. They are both valid and can be further apostilled.
Please note that FBI background checks are valid for only 6 months or even less from their issue date.

2. Email us or upload your FBI Background Check if it’s a digital copy, or mail us your FBI Background Check if it’s a hard copy.
